Essential Insurance joins the Protection Distributors Group

We are pleased to confirm that Essential Insurance is one of the latest firms to join the Protection Distributors Group (PDG). The PDG was formed in 2016 to drive change in the protection market and encourage insurers and intermediaries to deliver better consumer outcomes. Over the past three years the group has helped improve the industry through initiatives such as the Funeral Payment Pledge and the PDG Claims Charter.

As an independent broker that has been dedicated to putting its customers first since launching in early 2015, Essential Insurance has earnt a reputation for offering first-class customer service, are committed to providing no nonsense advice and driven by the belief that buying life insurance should be kept straightforward.

Consequently, this obligation to the PDG supports our strategy, which is to ensure that we continually strive to positively improve the experience of buying life insurance for our customers.  By joining the PDG, Essential Insurance can work with other like-minded companies to help to drive positive change in the industry that delivers best customer outcomes and increase the opportunity to make helpful improvements for our own customers.
