Every 22 minutes a child in Britain is bereaved of a parent. This is one of the most fundamental losses a child will ever face, and these children need support to make sense of death and rebuild their lives.
Winston’s Wish offers:
- The widest range of practical support and guidance to bereaved children and their families.
- Professional therapeutic help in individual, group and residential settings.
- An interactive website, national helpline and other publications containing specialist information for children, young people and professionals.
- Residential weekends for groups of children and groups of parents/ carers.
- Training and consultancy for professionals and support for schools.
By working together, we can offer support to Winston’s Wish. Money raised will fund the innovative support needed to help these children, enabling them to face the future with confidence and hope.
Through the core commitment of our charity partnership, we will be able to have a positive impact on many families. Our funding helps Winston’s Wish to use its expertise to provide the greatest benefit possible.
