September 2017 Existing Customer ‘Income Protection Promotion’ Terms and Conditions

  1. This offer will only be made to Essential Insurance Customers who are a UK resident and over 18 and only applies to customers who purchase a new income protection policy through Essential Insurance during the promotional period: 11th September 2017 to 31st October 2017.
  2. To be eligible for this offer the existing customer must purchase income protection cover, in addition to the existing life policy previously purchased through Essential Insurance. The existing life policy must be in place, payments up-to-date and not pending cancellation or cancelled.
  3. Employees of Essential Insurance and its associated companies are not eligible to this offer.
  4. Essential Insurance Services reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude you from the offer if you do not comply with these terms and conditions.
  5. Subject to these terms and conditions the qualifying Customer will be eligible to receive a £50 M&S gift card once they have either i) paid for the first three (3) months’ income protection premiums in full or (ii) paid for their income protection policy in full at the time they take out the insurance.
  6. The gift cards offered are non-transferrable and no cash alternative will be offered.
  7. The offer is only available to eligible existing customers who take out income protection cover through Essential Insurance from 11th September 2017 to 31st October 2017.
  8. To receive the gift card the Customer will need to complete a claim form (“Claim Form”). The Claim Form will be sent to the Customer and must be completed and sent back to the Rewards Team at Essential Insurance at Essential Insurance, Third Floor, Marshall House, Park Avenue, Sale, Cheshire M33 6HE when stated on the form.
  9. The customer who is returning the claim form is required to pay postage.  All claim forms must be returned to the promoter by post and forms posted without the correct or sufficient postage will be excluded from the offer.
  10. Essential Insurance will withhold issuing of gift cards without notice if we suspect fraud, abuse or if any party breaks the terms and conditions of this offer.
  11. Gift Cards will not be sent should the Customer cancel their policy prior to the 3-month premiums being paid in full.
  12. Gift Cards will be sent by Royal Mail and Essential Insurance does not accept any liability for gift cards not received.
  13. Essential Insurance may decline to quote in some circumstances. Insurance policies are subject to eligibility and exclusions.
  14. Essential Insurance reserves the right to change, alter or withdraw the offer at any time.
  15. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
